Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I have been living under a leaking hut for over five years. Nevertheless, I am happy that I will be sleeping under a complete iron roofed house. This is my greatest achievement throught the cash transfers.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I heard a message tone that early morning. I called my son who read the message for me. At that moment I felt happy.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent UGX400000 to purchase household items such as bed, mattress, food basket, clothes. I spent UGX540000 to purchase bricks and the balance will be spent on purchasing sand and cement.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means I can construct a better house to stay in. The one I currently live leaks and it's old.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is during lunch time.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship in my life is poor accommodation. It's very difficult always renovating the thatched house because the thatch material is scarce which makes it expensive.
