How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from the way it was four months ago in that I'm sure of getting a huge harvest at the end of the long rains seasons. This is because I was able to plow a large farm by using modern farming methods such as hybrid seeds and fertilizers which I don't always use. Secondly, I'm proud I currently own a pit latrine thus I no longer use a neighbors pit latrine and I don't hide from the village elder anymore whenever they are going for monthly health-check rounds in the village.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I have an additional goal of fencing my home compound. This will prevent neighbors' livestock from straying in my compound and destroying the crops I have grown in my compound. In addition, I'll be ensured of security for my family and properties because strangers won't be assessing my home whenever we are away.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer is that I am sure I will have enough food that will take my family for the whole of this year. This is because I was able to spend part of the previous transfer on both improving the farming methods through buying farm inputs such as hybrid seeds and fertilizer and also on plowing a large piece of land by hiring laborers who worked on the farm
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
My current house is not that big to accommodate visitors and my family well thus I do take my visitors to sleep in my brother's house. This is hectic and not secure because I have to let the visitors walk at night. Therefore, in the next six months, I plan to buy building materials which I will use to construct a house for my guests where they will spend. I would not want to bother my neighbors anymore with my visitors.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced is feeding my big family since I don't have a reliable source of income.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening after completing the day's activities and I get time to rest.
What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to spend my transfer on renovation and expansion of my house. This is because the current house is less spacious and is in a poor state.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I am proudest of was cultivating my farm through mechanized methods which resulted in a bumper harvest of 6 bags of maize, half a bag of beans and a bag of sorghum. This made it possible for my family to have enough food for a long period of time.
