Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was very happy when I received my transfer. This meant a lot to me.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
So much has changed. I have a sleeping place now which is comfortable. Sometimes I go to bed early just to enjoy the comfortability. I also have enough food than I had before the transfer. I am now able to eat 3 times a day.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used my transfer to buy some bags of cement. I bought 12 in total. I also bought mattress which costed me MK 60 000. I also bought clothes for my family. I used part of the money to buy kitchen utensils and food. Part of it was used to pay a builder.
