How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than if I had not received cash transfer in that, I am now a happy person because I have received my cash transfer that I have used for buying building materials for building my Permanent house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Give Directly has done well through giving unconditional cash transfers to the poor. I do not see what Give Directly has not done well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I used my second transfer worth 1,633,000ugx for buying building materials for my Permanent house.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that am happy because the money has really helped me.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received the transfer I felt so happy.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to buy household items (Kitchen utensils, basin). I bought food and I still have 1,400, 000ugx which I intend to use for buying a bull and incase there is any balance I will still plan for it.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
The transfers will enable me build ironroofed house. My grassthatched roof is always destroyed by termites and building ironroofed house is the only hope.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest moment is always afternoon after getting what to eat.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i face is lack of oxen to facilitate ploughing.
