What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent the larger part of my third transfer on plastering my new iron sheet house hence I am no longer rained on especially on this rainy season as before the transfer when I was staying in a leaky grassed thatched house. I also bought six goats of which five of them have already reproduced and now they are ten in totality. I am thankful to GiveDirectly since they have regained my humanity..

I spent my second transfer on buying a fishing boat at 105,000 KES after adding some of my money to it.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I no longer stay all night in the lake fishing as before now that I have a boat that I just set in the evening with a net then come back early morning and pull out the caught fish.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
With the water hyacinth at the lake increasing daily, disabling vicinity and reducing the number of fish in the water, most of the time am always coming back home empty handed hence and my family is forced to go hungry most days
What is the happiest part of your day?
During the day when i get to spend time with my family because i spend most nigts at the lake fishing and come back in the morning
What does receiving this money mean to you?
My main occupation is fishing, which is the only source of income for my family. On top of thay, i stay in a grass thatched house that not only leaks, but is very small and can barely fit my family. With this money, i will br able to expand my fishing business and also build my family a bigger permanent house where the children can have their own room and be comfortable
