How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The most sound change is that, I am living a comfortable life because I sleep in a permanent house. previously, I used to sleep in an uncomfortable house that was grass thatched. The house needed to be renovated on yearly basis which was hectic and expensive.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has done well through giving direct support to poor people like me. I built my permanent house with that support and I stay in it now. It's difficult to find faults from GiveDirectly.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I pent my second cash transfer worth UGX 1,632,000 for purchasing building materials like cement, sand, iron sheets, nails, paying for labour, buying paint, timber and transport towards construction of my house.
