What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent most of the second transfer to fix steel door and windows for security purposes. I spent the transfer to pay school fee for my child who is in secondary school. I also spent the transfer to buy bedding and 2 sacks of maize for my consumption.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, l have been longing to have steel door in my life but now l have it for security purpose. I also no longer borrow from neighbors for me to have food on the table because of Give Directly.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent 8,000 KES to pay school fees arrears for my daughter in secondary school who had been sent back home for fees. The remaining amount was spent on buying on food.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was very happy and still happy when I received the money because I knew the burden of paying school fees for my daughter will be no more.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
My plan is to spend my transfer on paying school fees for my child in four three,building a new house since the current one is old and weak,I will use the remaining amount to boost my cooking oil trading business.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I'm proudest of is having been able to educate my child through primary school and now she's currently in form three,this was after my husband passed on.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I'm facing currently is on making ends meet and on paying school fees for my child in secondary school,my business has not been doing very well either.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning when the first thing I do is to give thanks to the Lord for the day and pray for the family.
