How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
In the last four months, the difference in my life is that I have always had food for my family. This is unlike before the transfers because we could not afford all the three meals a day. We would have two meals a day unless when we are invited to a friends house or attend a function is when we could have three meals a day. As a result of GD transfers, we do take three meals a day unless we did not have anything at all is when we can miss a meal though very rare these days.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the next four months, I would be very happy if I would be able to put up a kitchen. Currently, my children do have to go to my neighbour's house to find a sleeping place which is not safe with them The kitchen will provide them with privacy.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my life is that I have built an iron-roofed house in my own compound. As the firstborn, I should have moved out of my parent's compound a year ago so as to create space for my younger siblings to put up their houses. Due to the low income from casual work with many family needs, I was not able to raise enough money to build a house. When I started receiving my transfers, I saved until I had the amount required to buy enough build materials for putting up a house. When the right time came, I built the house and I thank GD for taking away my shame.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I have plans for saving my monthly transfers so that I may be able to buy building materials. I want to use the materials to put a kitchen. It will be a cooking place as well as a sleeping place for my children.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
I have been saving and buying new iron sheets every month when I receive the cash transfers. It is because of the new iron sheets that I finally managed to build a new house for my family. To be honest, I used to live in a very small structure that was in such a dilapidated state but I am glad that today I live in a more spacious house that accommodates the entire house very comfortably.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My short term goal is to build a new kitchen structure for my wife who has been cooking in the living room which is a danger to our own well being. With the new kitchen, she will have ample time preparing meals for the family and even during occasions when we have visitors.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference is that I have been able to build my own home which I would have never managed without the transfers. To make the dream come true, I was forced to buy building materials such as iron sheets, cement and sand which were all instrumemntal in making the dream come true.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I will have built the new kitchen by then so I think when I look back by that time, I will be able to say that at least I have a new kitchen structure which maybe I could not have managed to build were it not for the cash transfers from Give Directly.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
As a parent, it's really painful when you do not give your children the fundamental necessities . I am saying this because before the transfer my children would go to school barefoot with torn and old uniform, as a result, they were demotivated to go to school when they could compare themselves to their classmates. My life is currently a difference in that I have been able to buy a school uniform for them and it gives me joy see them go to school happy and confident.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I do not have a new goal but rather having my homestead will make a significance in my life hence my intention is to save and use the savings on buy building materials for the construction of my homestead.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
In our tradition there comes a time when a man should live his parent's home and start his. The time had come and since my motorcycle business wasn't making much to start the project.I didn't have an option but to struggle and do odd jobs to boost my savings. The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months is that; the transfers have come in handy since I have been able to buy most of the building materials which will necessitate the construction of my homestead. I believe through this I will be able to be dependent and achieve my obligation as a man.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect in the next six months that my life will be more prosperous since I shall have to save enough money which I will use to buy building materials for the construction of my homestead. I can't wait to achieve this dream that I have been longing for.
