What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on settling school fee arrears for my children in both secondary and primary schools. Raising these children's school fee has been a great challenge on my side as I mostly rely on donations from well wishers. Besides that, I purchased a cow that would in future multiply and fill my herd. Through this I will be able to count myself wealthy since livestock is perceived to be a sign of wealth in my community.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has greatly improved as compared to the previous one. Today I can attest that I live a life worth remembering. I feed so well, live in a good house and dress well.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, I feel give directly has done so well above what everybody else thought of it. The trust it has built in people has never been built by any other organisation.
