.I do not have any new goals at the moment. I still want to complete the construction of my 4 roomed mud-walled house that I had started with the transfers. Currently, I was able to renovate 2 rooms by replacing the mud walls with stone walls that are more durable and do not require frequent repair which is very costly. Completing the construction will restore the happiness that I had lost for so many years sleeping under a leaking roof.

In my opinion, giving out cash transfers to the poor households in our village is what Givedirectly did well. Additionally sending the cash directly to eligible households through mobile money was a good decision they made. Through the transfer, the lives of many people in our community were transformed for the better. I just wish it expands its operations to reach other households living in poverty.

In addition, I bought a bag of maize for KES 4500 since we did not have enough food for the family. Moreover, I spent KES 10,400 to construct a pit latrine for my family because we were using the bush which was not safe, especially at night. Besides, it was destroying the environment. Lastly, I spent KES 17,000 to purchase 10 tonnes of buildings stones which I intended to renovate my house by putting up pillars and floor so that it is more stable.
