What did you spend your second transfer on?
When I received my second transfer, I built a semi-permanent house of 30 iron sheets and fenced my home all round. I decided to construct the house since my former one was embarassing me with my visitors, they could watch my bedroom since it was the same room that served as a sitting room, a bedroom and a dinning room-we never had privacy at all.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that we have gained privacy. I live with no more embarrassment since I constructed a bigger house and partitioned it appropriately courtesy of Give Directly.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
Firstly, we plan to use part of the transfer to build a latrine with metal roof and metal walls, and with a mud floor. Secondly, we intend to use another part of the transfer to buy two cows that would in future, provide us with milk for family use and even sell the surplus to the villagers for an income to our family. Lastly, we plan to use the remaining amount to build a house that would serve both as a kitchen and a room, for our children to to sleep.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement we are very proud of is that, with the savings from our casual work, we managed to buy a cow that my husband paid as my dowry to my parents.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Paying school fees for our child in secondary school in form two, and school levies for the four children in primary school, is the biggest hardship we have faced.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when I am relaxing at home after my casual work.
