I hope to improve on my house.

I can't complain because I was badly off and give directly helped me immensely, I have utilised my money well because I'm a widow and don't have anyone to help me. There's nothing difficult and no improvements needed

I bought 3 bulls for investment, foodstuffs, household goods and clothes.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was extremely happy upon receiving the transfer message. For sure I felt un settled
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I now have seats for my visitors unlike the previous days where I used to run to my neighbours for seats afterreceivingvisitors. My house will also soon have a new look after renovating it

I bought a cow, some good seats in my house, iron sheets as j plan to renovation my old house and some bedding materials

What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
Recieving this money means a lot to me. I will be able to buy two cows worthy $55, and also I want to save $83 in a saving community within my Village so it can accumulate and to enable me take my children go to school this year.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I was so happy when I harvested coffee in October 2022 and got $27 after selling it. I was able to buy food for me and my children, also Chicken for rearing for commercial purposes that I can sold any time need arises.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
During the last year, the intensive rains which come from uphill destroyed my crops(beans) in the gardens. This happens as the heavy rains come, it washes away all the soils and destroys the crops. This left us with scarcity of food and we have to struggle to get two full meal in a day.
