What did you spend your third transfer on?
I did spend my transfer to help me in house constructions. I spent 16,600 KES to purchase iron sheets for roofing, 8,000 KES to buy timber to help in roofing. I bought sand that costed me 7,000 KES this was to help in plastering the walls of my house. I bought a wooden door at 2500 KES, nails both roofing and normal nails at 1,000 KES and paid off the workers 4,000 KES. The remaining amount I did use for up keep in my household. GD has helped me put up a descent house and I will forever be great full.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent the larger part of my second transfer on buying building materials such 30 pieces of iron sheets since I am planning to build a spacious three roomed house in my own homestead, as at the moment I am staying at my parents- in -law's homestead. I bought four goats and 8 pieces of cushion for my chairs. I also bought household expenditures
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I am now prepared to build a decent spacious three roomed house since I have bought the necessary building materials for the commencement of this long awaiting project. I am thankful to GiveDirectly.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship is getting consistent source of income to sustain our family's needs,this is because farming is seasonal and when we have not engaged in it like presently when it has been so dry, then we tend to face many hardships in terms of feeding,paying school fees for our children etc.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest moments of my day are around afternoon when I get a chance to just seat and relax after a hard days work in the farm or hawking water around the village with my donkeys.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means upgrading the appearance of our current house to a permanent one that does not require constant repairs.
