How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My family's' life has changed this year in that we have gotten the top most wish we had. We had for a very long time longed to have a stable business and now we do because with GD funds we bought a motorcycle that in transporting people to and from places gives us returns ranging from MWK7000 TO MWK8000 per day.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I would love for Give Directly to not change their mode of operation. More specifically the transfer timing and transparency. What I appreciate the most is that the organizations' staff themselves take charge of the program, not leaving it up to chiefs and local leaders who could potentially be biased
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
This time around I just used my transfer to buy a motorcycle so I can venture in the transportation business. I have since started the business and I already love the returns.
