How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I had a plan to build my house and roof it with a zinc but I never had the money. However, I have been struggling with it until GiveDirectly came with this help and with this opportunity. I am gathering my materials together to enable me build my house and roof it with zinc. And the new plan is o buy my solar panel and electrify my home.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my own mind GiveDirectly is doing well because with this opportunity that I have received will enable me to build my house which I have been planning for a very long time. However, I have not seeing wrong side of GiveDirectly yet.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My goal is to build a house for my family and I. For almost 6 years now, my wife, 2 children and I have been living in my Grandfather house and I feel ashame everyday of not being able to build a house for my family. Receiving this transfer has make me feel like a man. Because I will now have a place of my own.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Giving cash directly to us and following up to ensure that we have received are too much well this organisation is doing. It is because of GiveDirectly that I am now able to own things that I never thought of owning. With this transfer received, I am going to build a house for myself. It is something, house, I did not expect to happen for me and my family.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
Buying zinc and paying for the sawing of plank is what i am going to spend my most recent transfer on. I have kept my first, second and third transfers in order to have enough money to begin the construction of a new house. For too long now, my family and I have been living in my Grandfather house which is too ashame of me. That everyday i wake up and not being able to build a house for myself. Now that i have these transfers my family and I are going to have a house of our own where we can live happily.

Receiving the transfer was like and miracle to me. I never believe what my eyes could see for the first time until the entire town started celebrating. It was my first moment in Life to unexpectedly to received such a huge money for free. I was so excited to the extend that I had to run from one point to another

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Being a grown up man residing in my grandfather house for so many years , I have always thought of building a house for myself whenever I have the means to do so. I have been in my grandfather house from my teenage and this has been an embarrassment to me the fact that I have a family of four members now. My absolute priority is how to build a house and this is the reason I have always been in the forest hunting for animals to sell and settle some family issue after saving portion of the cash received from the animals sale . Such save from the animals sale cannot allow me to accumulate the needed resources to build a house for myself because of other family expenses. I will definitely use my unconditional cash transfer from Givedirectly to have a modern building for my family and I if I am opportune to receive.
What is the happiest part of your day?
What makes me happy most often is when my traps catch animals. It it because the sale from the animals can enable me to take care of my family and send my children to school .That is my day-to-day activities that always brought happiness to me .
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My challenges are uncountable ; finding food as well as payment of school fees for my children have been my challenge. The reason I most often spend my day-to-day activities in the forest is to take care of my family members for which all have been not well .
