How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Some improvement in the hygiene and sanitation have been realised in my family after using the transfer to construct a pit latrine.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
What Give Directly did well was the giving me the cash. I was able to put in place whatever I was lacking in my home.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my Second trnsfer on buying some solar system at 400.000/=. I also contructed someone to dig and construct for a pit latrine at 600.000/=. The remaining amount of 632,000/= is being used for my home up keep .

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The big difference is that am now able to pay school fees for my children.

I felt very happy because I did not expect such an opportunity.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I bought iron sheets 260000/=, send 100000/=, cement 360000/=, Labour 200000/=, school fees 400000/=, blanket 40000/=, bed sheets 40000/=, building a Katrina 150000/=, lent to sister in-law 150000 and the was used for feeding.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means that i am going to be able to easily pay school fees for my kids who had stopped going to school because i had no money to cater for their school fees.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is afternoon when I interact with my neighbours and friends. This helps me kill off any stress that I might have.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest challenge i have faced in my life is contantly being in hospital taking care of my mother who is sick with cancer. This makes me less productive in my own home especially in doing agriculture because i am in hospital most of the time.
