Yes, I have a new goal wanted to start a tailoring business. Since I am a tailor by profession I thought having a sewing machine would be much better since all the profits will all be mine. However, I have not been able to accomplish this dream and I am hopeful that soon I will achieve it.

In my opinion, GiveDirectly has been doing so well in my village. The organization empowered every needy household and transformed them into better people. Most of us never had livestock, good houses, and our children had dropped out of school. All has changed now because all our heart desires were accomplished. This was a result of the freedom that we were given in regards to how we had wished to spend the cash.

I spent part of my second transfer on buying livestock more so a pair of oxen at KES 20000 and six goats at KES 21000. These will be reliable living assets that I can count on in case of any emergency. I opted for this livestock because the oxen will be of help, especially with my family activities. Also with the goats, once they increase in number, I will sell some and cater to any household need. To add to that, I cleared school fees of KES 3000 for my two children in primary school and cleared my college fees as well. I was pursuing a tailoring course and being ghee last semester I had no coin to fund that. With the remaining amount of money, I bought foodstuffs for my family.
