How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has changed alot from the moment I received the cash transfers.I was able to plaster my incomplete house and it is now habitable and safe. I bought an ox which has made the tilling and ploughing of our farmland possible. Previously, snakes would crawl into my incomplete house at night and at one point they nearly bit my children. On the otherhand, farming was also hectic because I only had one ox. However, farming is much easier now after I acquired another ox.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly does well to send people cash transfers that have made a positive impact on our lives. I am very grateful because I have done so much for my family with the aid of the cash transfers. On the otherhand, my only wish is that, GiveDirectly should consider other people who are needy especially the school drop outs who were left out during the enrollment stage.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to purchase cement and sand for plastering the house. I purchased an ox for ploughing and bought household items like utensils, a mattress and clothes.
