Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the next four months, I have a new goal to add an extended room on one side of the newly constructed house. The two rooms we had already constructed are only enough to accommodate family members. we are now adding a visitor's room to cut the hustle of always seeking a sleeping place in the neighborhood whenever we are blessed with more than one visitor.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
Upon receiving the transfers from GiveDirectly in the past two years, I have been working hard to ensure that I change a lot in our household. This has been a routine for every other household member also. The complete construction of a double-roomed house with walls made of bricks has been a step ahead in the last four months. This has changed our lives since we currently have spacious rooms accommodating everyone and it is indeed the biggest difference in my daily life.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, we are expecting to have completed the construction work and will at least be relieved of the great work. We are currently sourcing only cement and bricks since we already have other requirements and once we find all of them, the construction work will be picking.

Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My additional goal for the next four months is to finish building a room that I recently extended from my main house. This will serve as a bedroom for my visitors and children whenever they visit. My spouse and I will pool our transfers and use it to do this work.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I have been able to buy a dairy cow. I was able to achieve this using the savings that I was given in our merry go round group that I have been saving using part of my transfers. I believe that it will be calving soon and I will be able to save the money I would otherwise use in buying milk. Also, I will be earning an income from milk sales and use it to pay school fees for my son.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, my life will have changed in that I will have finished building an extension of one room. Due to this, I will be a happier person knowing that my visitors will not be sleeping in our sitting room anymore. Finishing the construction of this room will also enable me to start saving some money that I can later invest in other income-generating activities.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different in that I now live in a new and semi-permanent house even though in an unfinished state. I am currently in the process of trying to fish building it so that it can be in full use. I initially used to stay in an old house that was getting older each passing day and maintaining it was becoming more laborious. I am glad and happy to be living in a new house.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I built a new house and only concentrated to finish two rooms due to inadequate funds. My aim right now is to complete building another room within the house to a state of use.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I am able to comfortably provide the family basic needs such as food without straining much. I used to run some banana and grains business but due to ill health, I could not run the business much hence little income. The transfer was able to complement the little that I earn from the small business.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
My expectation in the near future is to fully live in the new house that I had put up but is incomplete. I am currently putting aside some savings to allow me to buy some few building materials and finish building the house. Once this is done, then I can move in fully. I expect that our state of living will improve in the near future.
