What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second cash transfer for buying two cows to act as an investment and a bull for ploughing. We use bulls for ploughing because the tractor is very expensive for us. I then enrolled for mechanical engineering course. The course will help me in the future to act as a source of livelihood.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has done well to give poor people money in order to empower them. I have as well been enabled to buy cows and build a permanent house. I do not see what GiveDirectly has not done well.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The greatest change in my daily life is that, I am happy because I have acquired items that I didn't have. Previously, my life was miserable and I engaged primarily on rain fed agriculture which was unpredictable.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I am faced with is inadequacy of food. This is because the piece of land that is available for cultivation is limited and as a result, I always get low harvest.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am happiest in the evening when I am with friends.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means I will be able to buy livestock and a piece of land to cater for any eventualities.
