What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on purchasing more utensils in my house, bought a water can to store more litres of water and my decent clothes. I also bought new seats and used the larger percentage of the amount on completing the renovation work started using the second transfer.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer in that, I don't live in a dusty house , smearing it everytime has been a long gone case and moping has been easy since I managed to complete plastering the floor.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, what GiveDirectly did well was involving everyone in the program who was willing to participate and sending the money directly to every recipient which was a very good idea that highly prevented bribes.

I am planning to plaster my house and buy a cow with my upcoming lump-sum payment.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to spend my transfer on cement and labour to plaster the walls of my house, then I will buy and fix steel windows and door to improve the look of my house and also make it more secure.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I am proudest of is growing my own food and not being overly dependent on others.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced in my life is lack of money, because I am old and can no longer do some of the work I used to do in the past.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning when I am up and about, and I am able to greet and talk with my neighbors.
