What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent most of my third transfer to sofa sets because I did not have good seats. I bought three goats for rearing and the remaining amount, I spent to start a fish business.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that, I am self independent since I have a business where I get income and no longer depend on my spouse. This would have not been possible without the transfers
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly did well in sending us money which has has enabled to make a bigger step in life. I have not seen anything that GD did not do well.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on building an iron roofed house, bought sofa set sits at 15,000 KES then used the rest to restart my omena (small fish) business.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that am now happier because I now have a decent and spacious house and am also getting some good income from my business, unlike before when I used to work on people's farms for a living.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent most of my first transfer on iron 10 sheets because i have plans to build a new spacious house compared to the one i live in currently. I also bought 3 chicken for rearing from which i can get eggs for more chicks that i can sell and handle my emergencies.

I felt happy when i received my money because my dream to build and live in a spacious house will be achieved.

I would like to use the transfer on building a better and bigger house for my family.Secondly,l plan to use the transfer on starting a shop business in Ahero.This will help boost my family income.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is being able to buy sofa set chairs for my family from my table banking savings.My visitor can now sit comfortably when they visit me.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Making ends meet is my biggest hardship my life.Our income is low.We are paid one hundred shillings per for the casual job in the rice fields.This is not enough to support my family expenditures. Sometimes, we have to skip a meal in a day.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of my day is in the evening when weeding my kitchen garden.l feel happy because am able to save some money since l don't buy vegetables every day.
