How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is now different in that, I have been able to sleep in a better permanent house. The house I previously stayed in, was almost falling on us.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Give directly has done well in helping the poor develop. On the other hand, there is nothing bad that Give directly has done.

I have spent my second transfer on paint at Ugx60000 and deposited on the motor bike Ugx1200000 I'm intending to buy. I also boosted my poultry business with Ugx372000.

The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I'm very happy these days because our house is now better.

The moment I received the money, I felt very excited.

I spent my first transfer to buy cement at 82,0000ugx, sand at 150,000ugx, bricks at 190,000ugx for plastering my house and constructing a veranda. I'm planning to spend the balance to pay the builders and for buying solar panel.

Receiving this money is a means of helping me to renovate my my house and the balance for buying household iterms like beds , matresses and bedsheets.

The happiest part of my is always lunch hour because I like seeing the way my children struggle for food in one plate.
