How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I normally work odd piece work jobs. In all this work, no matter how hard I could have tried, I never would have managed to make this much money. For this I am grateful to Give Directly. They have really assisted me with the transfers given to me. This money will help me fix up my house. Something I would not have managed to do on my own.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give Directly did very well in bringing the money directly to the community members. If they had gone through other officials, the money would not have reached us and helped us as much as it has

What does receiving this money mean to you?
This money means that I will be able to buy most of the things that I desired to buy but couldn't because of financial problems. I will buy food to last us for the whole year. I will also start a business as a stable source of income. On top of that, I will build a new house because the house we live in is not durable.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Am happiest when I have enough to food to eat because for me to work I need to eat.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
It is very hard for me to make enough money to buy enough food for my family. I depend on casual labor to make money and it's always very hard to find piece works every day.
