What did you spend your second transfer on?
I am living in a grass thatched house that is terribly leaky-most of my belongings are rained on and to curb this, I decided to spend my second transfer on 30 iron sheets that I will use for a constructing a better house in the beginnng of next year, 2018. I hope very soon, the entire of my household members will no longer be rained on.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, what Give Directly does well is that it gives grants that we don't repay back as loans. However, it would consider helping us a little longer for us to progress further.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I believe that if I would have never received the transfers, constructing an iron-roofed house would still be a mirage to me-I would still be hopeless of one day walking out of a leaky grass-thatched house.
