What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to buy sand, cement, timber, round poles and nails which I will use to build a better house. I will also use part of the transfers to pay construction workers.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is having bought a goat. I managed to save some money with a women's self help group and eventually bought the goat in fact it has already given birth to a kid.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I face right now is lack of a sustainable source of income, I make traditional reed mats but of late the demand for the mats has been on the decline, this often results in a decline in the amount of disposal income that my husband and I can use for our daily needs
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is usually in the evening after I finish all my chores for the day, I usually have supper with my family and the atmosphere is always lively.
