Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I was able to access good medical treatment with the cash transfer. My health has greatly improved. Previously, it was very hard to access good medical treatment because it was costly. I am very happy that GiveDirectly sent us the cash transfer.

I received the mobile money message early morning. I overheard ululations from the community, so I checked my phone to confirm if it was money sent from GiveDirectly.

I spent UGX200000 on medical treatment and UGX165000 to purchase household items such as utensils and clothes. I spent UGX162000 on iron sheets and UGX175000 on timber. I bought cement worth UGX104000 and a back pack bag worth UGX50000 and bed sheets worth UGX30000. The balance was spent on labour and food.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means that I will manage to get treatment. I have been disturbed by urlers for long period of time but just endouring due to inadequate money. My life is in danger since some times I cannot even Carry out any work. Givedirectly transfers will enable me seek treatment in better health facilities hence my life may be out of danger. If any balance remains ,I will spend for completing my iron-roofed house.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My favourite part of the day begins with good health in the morning. This opens up my plans for the day since Iam easily get attacked by urlers.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face is sickness. I have urlers that take alot of money for their treatment and as such my household is poverished. This is because it's hard to save any money for providing other basic needs.
