What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on building a decent four roomed bricked house since the previous house I was staying in was an old leaky house.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I am now living in a decent four roomed bricked house as a result I now have peacefully sleep at night since I am no longer worried of incurring frequent expenses of smearing my previous leaky mud house mostly when it rains.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly did well by giving money without any conditions as opposed to other organisations that works in my village who give money with conditions interms of loans. I don't see what GiveDirectly didn't do well.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent the whole of the second transfer to start building a nice permanent house, so l bought building materials such as brick, sand and concretes.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, l am now curtained that l will achieve my dream, l am also eating well because l spent the first transfer to buy 1 sack of maize and food.

I spent my first transfer on paying school fees for my child to enable him stay in school and bought 2 goats as my family's investment.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was home when I received the transfer and I felt so grateful because I didn't expect it but needed it for my daily needs.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
We plan to spend our transfer on cementing the walls of our house, buy two bulls to help us in ploughing our farm and the remaining amount will be used in starting a small vegetables business to help with income generation.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement we're proudest of is owning our current house, in the past we used to live in a thatched house which would leak during rainy seasons making it very uncomfortable us.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship we're facing currently is on making ends meet,this is because farming is not very much sustainable due to acute draught.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is at night after our evening meal when I get time to study the bible.
