How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I have gained weight, looking better because food is readily available, it's prepared in time, and family has meals regularly. Before, feeding was once in a day moreover late in the day after labouring in other people's gardens to earn a little money enough for a meal.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has done well giving money that no one could ever have held which enabled people to build iron sheet roofed houses, pay debts in which gardens were used as security and buy livestock. I can't identify anything it hasn't done well in my opinion.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
My second transfer was spent to buy a cow, paid debts, bought clothes for the children, and food.
