How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I have no new goal. My goal was to build a house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly is good at saying the truth. I also like the way staffs talk to people. They are very intelligent and patient in talking with people.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
My husband alleged of criminal stealing the money when he went to cash out in Zwedru.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
My husband and I along with my little daughter lived in a thatch house that we built some part of last year but since then, things haven't been easy for us especially when it comes to finance. If I am successfully enrolled in to Give Directly's Cash transfer program, I want to use some of the money to establish a business, if there is still sufficient amount remaining, then we can used it to change the roof of our thatch house to zinc.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last six months, what has brought me joy or happiness is when my husband and I finally completed building our house where we currently lived with our daughter. Even though the house is being roofed with thatch but I believe that when things get better for us, we will be able to change the roof to zinc or even go on to built a more decent house for ourselves than where we lived.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My family have been facing series of challenges but most of all is the lack of finances. My husband earned living for our home by working at a local gold minning site but when the rivers and creeks are dry during the dry seasons like now, things become very difficult for them, minners. As we speak currently, he is again out there on the minning field trying to earn something for our home, if he's not successful from the work done there, we will begin to find it difficult in terms of getting food for our home.
