How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Felecia, before GD came, I planned to build a house of my own but could not be realized due to lock of funding. My entire life had been farming and my farming have not yield any positive result, even products sales could not start a house. I was enrolled as a recipient on the GD program and received my first, second and third transfers. With the first, second and third transfers, I will now build a house for me and my children to sleep comfortably.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Firstly, I want to take this time to say a very big thanks to Give Directly for services rendered us during the entire enrollment process was very transparent.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I was able to buy three (3) bundles of zinc, paid people to cut the Sticks and saw planks for the building of my house. I was also able to buy food and paid my children school fees with out stress.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I am presently living in my Sister's house. I don't have my own place to live. I was overwhelmed when Givedirectly sent my transfer. Upon receiving the alert, I decided to build a house for myself. Therefore, I purchased few bundles of zinc to begin the process.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly has done extremely well for me and my entire community. Givedirectly has changed the living conditions of people. Givedirectly transfer has brought infrastructure development to our community. It is through Givedirectly that some of us will live in modern houses.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was so happy when I received money from GiveDirectly.
Before, Funding my children education was a serious challenge for me, couple with the many family problems that I was face with, and Being in a polygamous family as a second wife.
This situation got me so stressed up that my life was a living hell. But when I met GiveDirectly my life started to improved.
From the financial assistance that was given to me I was able to fully complete the payment of my four children tuition. Also my dream of living in my owned shelter will be fulfill.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
My life has improved greatly since I started receiving transfer fund from GiveDirectly. Before, I struggled so hard to find food for my family. Also to send my kids to school was so difficult for me. Now that GiveDirectly have started sending me cashed transferred I'm able to fund my kids education and provide my family daily needs. Also I will have sufficient finance to build a better shelter for my family.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
" I'm the last child for my parent, My mother parent had always supported us and making sure we lack nothing in school. It was unfortunate I could not end my education due to some financial crisis and my mother could no longer help us anymore.
I've always wish to be a high school graduate but life has turned it another way leaving me six children and a wife to a polygamous who is also thinking of supporting his first wife's children.
With the cash transfer from Give Directly, I'm going to invest into my five children education, invest into a profitable businesa for the betterment of my children . I believe once my children are well educated and working I will no longer be involve into hard farm work again.
What is the happiest part of your day?
"I loss my mother to the cool hand of death months now and It been challenging for me knowing the fact that we were so close even with our differences.
In the past month I had a dream of my late mother where she appeared and said everything will be alright with me and I should stop crying and worrying about her. Since I had that dream , I have had so much joy "
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
"My greatest challenge is the farm work. I sometimes wish to have money to pay people our youth in the community to work on my farm. Whenever I do hard farm work I observed to fall sick for days sometimes week."
