Give directly did well for me because, in the past months, I used to pick kiss meat from the beach before my children and I can survive. But after receiving this transfer from give directly, I was able to paid my children school fees, and even trying to start a new business.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt very happy when I received the transfer sent to me. This is my first time handling such amount all my life, and my kids weren't in school so receiving that money give me so much joy.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
My life is different now since I started receiving the transfer from Givedirectly. My family and I could barely afford food most times. My kids weren't in school because of lack of finance to pay their tuition. I went to deep swamp finding kiss meat to sell for $300 Liberian Dollars just to earned a living for my kids and I.

"What I plan to do with my cash transfer is to invest into dry goods business, reason is, things had not been easy on my family, my husband and I don't have any good jobs, he's a motorcyclist, and I go about picking kissmeats, and making cassava farm, the little we generate is what we feed on daily, but with dry goods business which can really sell in this place, I'll be able to reduce burden and help support the home, and help send the children to school as well."
What is the happiest part of your day?
"What had brought me happiness in the last six months is that, my elder sister's daughter got married, she's the first person within the family to get married, and more over, getting marry at her young age brought me so much pride."
