What does receiving this money mean to you?
If I am lucky to receive money from Givedirectly, I intend to start a business. Because presently, our only livelihood for survival is to pick kiss-meat to sell. At times, I have to engaged in casual labor work -that is going to help pick char-coal for people who burn coal to survive. The business will provide us money to pay for our children school fees and us. None of our children are in school because we don't have money. I'm very grateful for Givedirectly coming to our town today.
What is the happiest part of your day?
What makes me feel happy within the past six months was when I delivered safely with our second child. Things were tough on us during the pregnancy, but as God could have it we were blessed that I had a safe delivery without any complications.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Some of the major challenges facing us is money. Imagine me and my husband who is just 19 years and that I am 20, and that to fend for ourselves it's not easy. We are only depending on hard and intensive labor to survive. We want to go back to school, but how will we when we already have two other children to cater to. If God bless me with money to start a business, it will be a live changer because the business will help us raise more money to pay both our children and is school fees.
