How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Yes I do have goals that I did not have before receiving the transfer. My goal is to build a new and better house for me and my family . I am building a new house because my old house was in a very bad condition. We a family of three but the house only had two rooms which made it small for my family . The house was made of stroll and because of this it was falling apart. This is why I am building a new house for me and my family.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GD does well by helping with cast transfers. The money has helped me and my family to build a better house. I dont know anything GD does not do well yet.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have spent my recent transfer from GD to buy a bicycle so that it is easy for me to move from one place to another. I also used the money to buy some cloths since I did not have enough clothes

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Building a new improved house that has burnt bricks, ironsheet and cemented walls is what receiving this money means to me, i would like my children to live in the house as there is no more land to settle rather cultivate for food.and if some remains i would like to start a small business of selling fish.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Iam happy in the evening when we my family has settled together and we are eating because everybody gets to share how the day was.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Falling sick now and then is the biggest hardship i have faced in my life because when iam sick i do not do casual labour that brings money to buy food for my family.
