Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt very happy to receive the money from GD. I was very happy because I knew that the money will help me buy different things that I was never going to buy or do like buying iron sheets for my new roof without the help from GD. I was very excited as this was the first time for me to receive such an amount of money.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life since I received payment from GD is that I have bought iron sheets so that I put a better roof on my house. My house won't be leaking anymore during the raining season. This is something I never thought I would ever manage in my life , to have a bigger house with a roof made of iron sheets and not strolls.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spent my recent transfer on building materials like iron sheets.I am planning to build a new house as my old house is old and made with a roof of strolls which is very hard as it leaks during the raining season. I am also planning to build a better and bigger house so that the house is more comfortable

What does receiving this money mean to you?
This money will help me alot. I will build my own house as i am staying in my Dad's house. I run small businesses like ordering fish from the lake and resale on local markets, so this money will boost my capital. I am also thinking of going back to school. I dropped out in form three on financial grounds.
What is the happiest part of your day?
On 17 July i was happy as it was my son's 2nd birthday and i organised a party for him. We ate alot and celebated together with beighbors. That is my Joyful moment for the past 6 months.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I am not facing any big challenges worth to mention.
