What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
With determination in my heart and a vision in my mind, I shall embark on a journey to construct a house of on $1343 this plot of land. Land prices may be steep, but I see an opportunity here. This area's fertile soil is the perfect canvas for my dreams of growing onions and maize at $537. The profits from this endeavor will be the foundation of my next chapter: animal farming, with cows at its heart. I am ready to nurture this land, watch it flourish, and let it pave the way for a brighter future
What is the happiest part of your day?
In July, as I stood amidst the golden fields, the We had just harvested our maize crop, and the sight of those abundant ears of corn swaying gently in the breeze brought an indescribable joy to my soul. Our hard work, from sowing the seeds to tending to the crop, had paid off. No longer were we at the mercy of rising food prices or the uncertainty of the market. We were self-sufficient, providing for our family from our own land. The satisfaction of knowing that our efforts had put food on the table was a feeling like no other.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Living in this poorly structured house has been a daily reminder of the dream I've carried with me for so long – to build a better home for my family and myself. It's a dream that has often been overshadowed by the harsh reality of financial constraints. Every penny I manage to scrape together ends up being spent on the most basic necessities, leaving nothing for the construction I yearn for. I've envisioned a cosy and secure place, one where my family could truly feel safe and comfortable. But as the years pass, the gap between that dream and my reality seems to widen. The dilapidated walls and leaky roof of our current home are constant reminders of the struggle I face.
