What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
I will prioritize taking myself to school to advance my driving skills to get a licence of driving heavy machines like trailers and excavators. This has been my dream and through it i hope to earn a worthy livelihood and mainly to come help my community in garbage collection in order to clean up my area. Secondly, I will buy a motor cycle for business purposes. With a motor cycle I can never go hungry. This will guarantee me daily income that will help me manage my expenses and needs. Thirdly, I will pay for my sister her college fees. My sister cleared her secondary level and has just been at home due to lack of finances to take her to college. I fear for her being swallowed up by the crude slum/ghetto mannerisms or getting pregnant. For this reason, I will help pay her college fees just to save her from the slum bad life trap.
Describe your biggest worry.
My top concern is my sister because she cleared her secondary level and is just at home due to lack of finances. With the ghetto /slum environment, I fear for her being caught up in the crude ghetto life and mannerism that can result to early pregnancies or her destorying her life. I pray that one day I will be to find a better job so that I can just take her to college for her to better her life and get herself out of this slum area.
What are your greatest ambitions?
In life I would love to be a trailer driver. This has been my dream since my tender age and going by how life is nowdays, I feel by achieving this dream, I will be able to live a comfortable life. Through this idea, i will also help my community in garbage collection. My area of residence has problems with garbage disposal. I feel with my skills, and help from the Member of County Assembly (MCA) who can provide a trailer to collect the garbage, i will offer my services to drive the trailer for free and help clean my community.
Describe your usual day. How do you spend your time?
Every morning i wake up the first thing i do before anything else is to say a prayer, i groom up, take breakfast then rush to work. I have a couple of things i do that i balance for my day work. I sell second hand clothes and also i am a matatu tout. In the evening i return home, take a shower, haven my supper, say a prayer then retire to bed. Im my free time i love watching live fooball matches at pequinonos Hall in Mathare Area 1.
