What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent most of my third transfer to buy a cow which unfortunately died, I bought a sack of maize for consumption and also paid school fees for sibling who is in high school. I bought a bed and a mattress which I did not have, I bought bedding for my self and my children and the remaining amount, I have kept aside to use in starting a cereals business, clothes for my children and my own medication.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
If I would not have received the transfer, I would not have managed to pay school fees for my sibling and also I would not managed to renovate my house to how it is now. This has made me very happy and I thank GD so much.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly did well in sending us transfers which has changed the lives of recipients in our community. I have not seen anything that GD has not done well in our community.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on building soil, sand, cement and labour costs for repairing my old house. I also spent on a mattress, water containers and mortuary bills for my late mother who passed during that moment when I received the transfers.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I repaired my house which would have collapsed on me. I am no longer worried of a leaking roof, dusty floor and worn out walls because I have cemented it. Thanks to GD.
