How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My plan was to build my house and to send my children to school in Monrovia.I am a single mother, and I was only surviving on soap makimg. All thanks to give-directly for transforming my life.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My new goals that I have now is to buy a balance tow bundles of zinc to complete with my house. I also purchased a few pics of planks to use it for the roofing.I also pay my children tuition and bought them some school material. I did also bought a mattress and a music player for myself. I I also pay the gentleman man who has started building my house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly doing great things for me and my family. They are very transparent in their job as an NGO in Liberia.they are really impacting the life of people in our country.more especially we the poor people of Liberia. I'm grateful to givedirectly for their support towards me and my family.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
A huge of my transfer was spent on my house project.some were also used for business and the balance were used for food in the house. I also pay my children tuition and even bought them some school material. I also bought few things for myself, and even pay the gentleman guys who going to build my house. I also bought one mattress for myself, and also a music player.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was sitting in my yard when I heard my neighbor shouting that he has received his transfer. I quickly checked my mobile money balance .I was very happy to receive my first mobile money transfer from Givedirectly. This transfer came as a surprised to me I have been thinking about means to generate in this village to start making business inorder to pay my children school fees. Thanks to Givedirectly for empowering me financially. I have believe that with my transfer from Givedirectly, my worried to pay my children tuitions this year will soon be over.

The biggest difference made in my daily life since I started receiving payment from Givedirectly is that I have been worring about how to pay my children school fees this year but through Givedirectly cash support, I am now relaxed and hopping of getting money every month to take care of my children. Thanks to Givedirectly for the kind gesture.I believe that with my transfer from Givedirectly, my dreamed to live happy life will soon come to pass.

I used my most recent transfer to buy 5yards of floor mats for my room. I want to remove the country mat from the room and replace it with floor mat. I didn't have any food so, I bought one bag of 25 kg white rice for eating . I am saving the balance transfer to start selling rubber dishes and T shirts in this village to pay my children school fees. Thanks to Givedirectly for the cash support. What does receiving this money mean to you?
"I have been crediting money to fix soap and sell for a living. My plan for this transfer from GIVEDIRECTLY is to not credit again, but buy my own items and produce my soap and sell.I will also put my daughter who has been out of school due to hardship back in school".
What is the happiest part of your day?
"My son it's today I'm experiencing joy, because of Givedirectly program being launched in our town here. I know for sure that I'll be able to send my daughter to school and go to the hospital ".
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
"I have suffered from severe Cold in my body, and was taken to the hospital where i was advised to get treatment, but can't afford the cost. My greatest challenge now is to get money and get proper treatment ".
