How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
In the past I was a farmer who was living in a very deplorable condition but since I encounter Give Directly I'm now in the position to send my children to school and at least build a house for my family.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my own view Give Directly do good by giving me money to help my family and I. Everything Givedirectly do is good and nothing bad.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
My most recent transfer will actually be spend on my house material and paying the person who will build my house.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
" When I receive GiveDirectly cash transfer, I will buy a lot to build house for my family and myself! The next thing I wish to do with this money is to send all of our children to school because none of them are attending right now. Thirdly, I'll invest into our farm by adding cocao, banana, pineapple, etc".
What is the happiest part of your day?
"Everyday when I wake up and see my family well and healthy I feel so happy. In recent times, my children have not been sick so it saves my husband and myself from extra expenses and this gives me joy! When I go to the farm and cut plaintain to sell and when I gain a little profit from it, it makes me really happy because from it I'm able to take $300 to my mother who lives next door."
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
"My husband and myself have four children and it's really difficult to enroll them into school because of money. We hardly eat sufficiently on a regular basis so we are unable to tend to other needs like getting proper slippers for ourselves, clothing and things which are very essential. And, this thatched house was built 2018 but its lifespan is not long as compared to a zinc house. So, it has been leaking since the beginning of this year and it affected both the hallway and our bedroom."
