What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on buying a second hand motor cycle for transportation business at 50,000 KES. We have continued paying small instalments daily since then. My husband and I had no source of income before GD came into our village,I did casual work at Dominion Farm , while my husband did casual work at the Lake and our earnings were low.But of late I have seen an improvement since I also left my job and started a small scale business.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life: my life has greatly changed since my husband had abandoned me in a small house and lived with his second wife in Kampala while I was left to fend for the children on my own. My husband had not been home for 15 years but when I told him about some charity organization (GD) that gives cash and that I was lucky to receive this money and that he should come back and build me a home, he did not even argue with me as he used to. He came home, build me a descent house where am now living with my children. Today am peace and even if he goes back and stays forever, I would not even bother looking for him because am in a better house. GD has greatly impacted in my life and I thank God GD.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
When I received my first transfer, I spent 5800 KES on a sack of maize and cleared school fees arrears for my children in a primary school. Since birth, I haven't handled or owned 10000 KES in my life and it was that a great experience meeting my needs with the money.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money, I felt very anxious and over excited. This is because, it was my first time receiving and owning such big amount of money.
