I was very happy when i received my transfer, we celebrated with my family because i knew some of the challenges we were facing were going to be resolved.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
i used to stay in a grass thatched house and every year i could look for new grass to thatch my house. due to scarcity of grass in my area i could walk long distances just to find grass. with the iron sheets that i have bought i no longer have to walk long distances to look for grass to change the roof every year.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
When i received the transfer, i used the part of my money to buy iron sheets, i had a grass thatched house and repairing the roof every year was not an easy task so i thought it was wise for me to buy iron sheets for my house. the remaining money i bought mattress and a bicycle to ease transportation.
