How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that, I now own a plot of land which I never had hopes of acquiring one because I had no money. And if I never received my transfer, I would not have owned a plot of land.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GiveDirectly has done well by helping people clear debts and get treatment. Seconding they have also helped solve the problems in community like there were people who had registration problems. GiveDirectly has not done anything wrong.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I have spent my second transfer on completing to pay for a plot of land which I had deposited for using the first transfer at UGX 1,100,000, purchased Livestock at UGX 500,000 and food at UGX 30000.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my life is that this transfer has enabled me buy land where I will shift to from a swampy area where my home has been.

The moment I received the transfer I became so happy and I thanked God.

I spent 1,500,000ugx ofmy first transfer for paying for a piece of land, I bought a goat of 50,000ugx and clothes with the balance.

My biggest hardship is inadquency of money to start up a tailoring bussiness.

Afternoon time is my happiest part of the day.This is usually my resting hours.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means starting up a bussiness. I intend to buy a sewing machine that will enable me achieve my bussiness plan of making clothes.
