How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My goal is to have a nice house, to me a nice house is a house with iron sheets and cement floor. So i decided that i should extend and improve my old grass thatched house. Inorder to achieve this goal i have bought 30 iron sheets, 6 bags of cement, doors and frames I planned to finish my house before 2023.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give Directly does not favour anyone, the Field Officers where going door by door reaching out to recipients and making sure no one was left behind. With cash transfers I know I will have enough food for my household and this will reduce poverty
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought Fertiliser, pesticides since I am preparing for the next growing season. I bought building materials; wires and roofing nails I bought bed , blankets and mattress
