Our household was well known in our village not for anything good but for the serious fights between my wife and I. Problems after problems were the reasons behind our fights which even reached an extent where we separated for a good number of months. When GiveDirectly finally came to our village, my wife came back and we were both enrolled. After receiving the money peace and tranquility has been the thing. We have enjoyed sharing our dreams, planning together and even having a free atmosphere where we can talk about our future plans with the GiveDirectly money. We thank GiveDirectly for the great reunion in our family and bringing back the spirit of development now that we have about 20 hens to rear which we never had four months ago.

For the last four months many things have really transformed in our household but up on the list is the new environment around our household with a poultry project. The transfers brought a clear change in development and the project I had in mind has finally come to pass. my poultry is now doing well and the smaller household requirement like sugar, salts and even toiletries which we use to go without are becoming a story of the past. this has given me a chance to concentrate and work on bigger things like the payment of the school fees.
