How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different because now I am less stressed and I sleep better, before the transfers I have received I used to have sleepless nights stressing about how I am going to provide for my family, how we are going to get by the next day. So these transfers have really made a big difference I have even gained some weight.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion if I had to say the things that GiveDirectly doesn't well then it would be a lie. I have no complaints and everything that GiveDirectly does in my eyes they do well. And I can only be thankful for the things that they have done.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spent the transfers on matress, beddings and clothes for my family. And other building materials for the house. And the rest I have saved for future use.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
This money means a comfortable home for me and my children. We have been struggling to afford good food and prepare our food better as we have very few pots and plates. Hence, I will utilise the money to buy good beddings and mattress. The other money will go towards items such as pots, platesspoons, buckets and others.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am always happy in the afternoon when I am back from the garden. I spend time with my wife and children.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The main problem we face sustaining ourselves in the period after harvesting. We face a lot of hunger as farming is our only way of survival although it's small scale and once we harvest we end up using up everything several months into the next farming season.
