What did you spend your third transfer on?
When I received my third transfer, I started construction of a semi-permanent house of 35 iron sheets and I am very motivated since my current house is too old to offer us a comfortable life.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received this money in that I have acquired a peaceful state of mind; I am in the process of achieving my long term dream of living in a better house. And again, educating my child has been that easier and hassle-free like before when he couldn't stay in school since I couldn't afford to pay the school fees.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my own opinion, what Give Directly does well is that it sends us money directly and this eliminates issues of corruption but it would consider adding recipients more money since 1000 Us dollar was never enough since we were aspiring for more.
