What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent the third transfer buying a cow that I can use for ploughing when rainy begun. I bought 5 goats that I can sell whenever I have problem.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life life is different because, I didn't have even a single animal in my compound but currently I have several animals to take care of hence I can also sell them if I have an emergency .

In my opinion, Give Directly is doing well through sending money directly to the beneficiary, and the use of mpesa is more convenient and safest way.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I used a big portion of my first transfer to buy a bull. I will now plough my fields on time and also rent it out to earn some cash. I also bought other livestolk. I used the remaining portion of the money to buy some household items.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
Give directly has changed my life so much since I can be sure of a better life in future since I have a source of income.

I spent my first transfer to buy 2 goats for 6000 KES, a sheep for 2500 KES, 500 KES i spent on food and 1000 KES i spent to buy 45 kg of corn for family consumption.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I'm planning to spend my transfer on investing in rice farming,payment of dowry to my wife who has been nagging me for long to settle the payment as that will earn me respect in the eyes of my in laws and will use the remaining amount to buy some few livestock to raise.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I'm proudest of is having been able to save money from doing casual jobs and bought five goats which I later sold and used the money to build my current house.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship currently is on the constant remainder by my wife to pay dowry to her parents,in some cases we fall out because of this.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is in the morning when I'm at my place of work which normally is cultivating in my neighbors farm in exchange for money.
