How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is so much better than it was before receiving this money in a way that, I now have enough equipments in my kitchen say for example basins and pots..
Also, I now sleep better at night as I have a mattress and better blankets..Furthermore, I will be able to sleep in a new house after I complete building it in the following months.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
The major thing that i think givedirectly does well is to give me/us a huge sum of money without any conditions..This helped me to make my own decisions on how to use it for the benefits of me and my whole household..
The other thing is that Givedirectly gave me a new phone and a simcard which in my entire life I have never thought of having..For this i say thank you so much..
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used my second cash transfer to build a new house..In this, half of the cash will be used to pay the builders and to buy them enough food so that they can have energy to work.
Secondly, I used some of the cash to purchase kitchen utensils such as plates,basins,pails as well as pots..It costed me about k50,000 to purchase all the required necessities for my kitchen..I'm so happy and very excited that I now have a big basin that I can use for fetching water.
