How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is now different in that, I have been able to build a better house to stay in because I used to sleep under dilapidated structure before.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Give directly has done well by giving out cash transfers to the communities. On the other hand there is nothing bad that has been done by GD.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on roofing my permanent house, treating my son and for feeding my family.

The biggest difference in my daily life is peace of mind because i feel free from the burden of the debt I incurred.

The moment I received my money, I felt so happy.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to pay school fees, to build iron roofed kitchen because termites kept eating up my old grass thatched kitchen and also paid a debt of Ugx 800,000.

Receiving this money means investing in my children's education.I intend to use this money for paying their school fees.

The happiest part of my day is in the evening.This is after seeing my children return back safely from school.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship is lack of enough money to cater for my children's educational needs since, most of them are studying in secondary school levels.
